I am talking about the really idiotic idea that someones money is not good enough when you are trying to pay for advertisement or hits of traffic. Granted I understand that a "general theme" Blog or Website may not permit Adult Content, but what does that have to do with other PG or G rated Content by the same owner?
I own at this moment approximately 16 Blogs and still have several Websites in the building stages. Yes, the process is super slow since I am the only person putting any work into it. So most days I work 16 hours on my various Phone and Online Businesses. Now let us take Entrecard for example. My newest favorite Promotions Tool, since I can use their Firefox Toolbar and Drop Cards on various Blogs, all the while study new approaches, find resources I may enjoy, find new Blogs I may wish to approach for trades and still write or make notes for Blog and Website Updates. Now at this particular moment I have 8 Blogs listed with them and faithfully try to promote and update them on a at least every other day bases, taking turn on the various Blogs. 2 of those 8 are Adult Themed, the other 6 are as PG or General as they come. Matter of fact this Blog right here is one of them. Now some may not accept my request for advertisement (which I pay for with EC Credits) due to the newness of my Blog, but the one thing that really got my goat and gave me an idea for a new Blog is the stupidity of some.
I had a lovely Email come with the rejection of one of my Children's Blog (Original Stories I write for little ones) the reason was outlined as follows.
Since you offer perversion on your other Blogs I do not find it moral for myself to permit you to advertise on my Blog and I will speak to some of my friends as well. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Ok, a simple "rejection" would been enough, this was personal. But what was funnier then anything is that this precise Blog uses Images of "hot" girls to embroider his / her Articles. You tell me, isn't that calling the kettle black?
Now, here is my advise to you, try to get as many promotions places as possible for your Websites and Blogs and maybe you should group your blogs by content as well. Sadly I started to late with this one and have already started various Campaigns so too late to do it now,but I think in my next Blog Advertisement and Traffic Venture I will do just that. This way it may just stop more stupidity from coming my way.
